The number of rhino killed in South Africa this year for their horns has hit a record 860 so far, despite the deployment of the army and the use of helicopters and drone patrols.
The latest brings the tally in KwaZulu-Natal to 80 rhino this year. Last year’s stats reported 66 rhino deaths.
The Department of Environmental Affairs statistics reported 58 poacher arrests since January.

Its so sad that I grew up in Mkuze never thought I should at once go for Rhino pouching bt people nowadays think so cruel. Its been said over and over again. Please fellow South Africans let’s protect or nature.
