THE Business Network International (BNI) uMhlathuze Chapter recently hosted its year-end function, with a classic black and white theme at the Don Carlos at the Waterfront.
Various awards were distributed throughout the evening, from member of the year to the most money brought into the Chapter.
Over the past 8 months the uMhlathuze Chapter has generated approximately R7.4-million which was made purely through referrals within the chapter.
BNI members, on average, increase their business 20% in the first year and each Chapter only accommodates just one person per profession.
The Chapter has grown over the years and now has a total of 37 members.
The philosophy of BNI on a global scale is built upon the idea of ‘Givers Gain’- by giving business to others, you will get business in return.
The mission of BNI is to help members increase their business through a structured, positive, and professional ‘word-of-mouth’ programme that enables them to develop long-term, meaningful relationships with quality business professionals.
