THE young guns were out on Saturday morning showcasing their talents at a mini cricket festival hosted by Heuwelland Primary School.

Boys and girls aged U8 to U9 competed in two matches, each member of the teams of eight batting and bowling one over.

The teams will be back in action next Saturday when they compete in a mini cricket festival at Veldenvlei Primary School, before closing the season off at the uMhlathuze Regional Sports Complex on Saturday, 3 March.
