2-1 win makes it six points straight for Richards Bay FC
Down at half time,NRB boys bounce back for an important win
RICHARDS Bay FC got the second half of their 2017/18 NFD campaign off to the perfect start with a superb come-from-behind 2-1 win over KZN neighbours Uthongathi on Saturday.
Trailing 0-1 at the break, the NRB boys turned on the gas to hit back with goals by Menzi Hlophe and Sphelele Mkhulise, to earn their second successive win, one that lifted them well off the bottom of the league table.
Displaying their newfound confidence at the Princess Magogo Stadium, it was also their first victory on the road this season and six points in two games augers well for their future fixtures.

Sadly, they will be without Hlophe when they host arch-rivals Stellenbosch at the uMhlathuze Stadium this Saturday, after the striker was red-carded late in the Uthongathi game.
But the Bay side boasts plenty of talent and its obvious head coach Jean Losciuto is succeeding in influencing a more disciplined and more attacking style to their game.

After a good start to the season, the Cape side has lost its last two games: 2-0 to TTM and 3-1 to Witbank Spurs.
They will surely battle against a home side that is steadily gaining in self-belief and – at last – scoring goals from the many chances they create.
