Recognition for blood donor controllers

Brenda Khuluse, Head of Collections - Northern Branch, addressed the audience, highlighting the challenges faced by the service, including the cancellation of clinics at short notice

THE SA National Blood Servives (north branch) recognised their controllers at its annual awards ceremony held in the Dome at the Umfolozi Casino Resort in Empangeni on Friday evening.

Brenda Khuluse, Head of Collections – Northern Branch, addressed the audience, highlighting the challenges faced by the service, including the cancellation of clinics at short notice.

Tammy Hammond from the Richards Bay Medical Institute presented a report of the work being done by the centre.

School representatives recognised for their contributions were Janienne King of John Ross College, Helene Joubert of Empangeni High and Hedemarie Bentley from eShowe High with the Head of Collections – North Branch, Brenda Khuluse
