eShowe festive season security programme launched
Sixty delegates attended the launch at Four-Square shopping centre in eShowe
A JOINT security initiative involving all crime prevention bodies in eShowe was launched on Friday.
Three crime prevention kiosks will be supported by the SAPS, the eShowe Community Police Forum, private security companies, uMlalazi Protection Services, uMlalazi Disaster Management, various ambulance services and the Zululand Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Sixty delegates attended the launch at Four-Square shopping centre in eShowe.
The programme will see a large number of volunteers patrolling the business district until 15 January.
A vehicle, branded with Community Police Forum logos, will be used to patrol the business area and suburbs of eShowe.
