Have you donated your ‘bucket of love’ this Christmas?

DICE (Do I Care Enough?), the charity arm of the Zululand Observer, encourages community members to challenge one another to collect 1 000 grocery buckets, which will be distributed to the most needy families in the area as part of their Christmas Cheer 2017 programme.

Since launching the appeal, DICE is well on it’s way to reaching their bucket target , with compassionate business people and members of the community challenging one another to better their donation, all in the spirit of passing on love to those less fortunate.

‘We are so very grateful to those corporates and individuals who have so lovingly supported this initiative to date,’ said DICE Founder Regina Anthony.

Your staff or family are encouraged to deliver your bucket of love to the Zululand Observer offices in Empangeni, and have a photo taken to encourage others to donate.

The buckets – available at Checkers Empangeni (Sanlam Centre) and Checkers Hyper Richards Bay (Boardwalk Inkwazi Shopping Centre), cost R199 each and contain essential grocery items needed to feed a family.

DICE is a non-political and is committed to improving the lives of especially children and the elderly.
