‘No fear’ as NRB face log leaders

Richards Bay FC tackle log leaders at home on Saturday

RICHARDS Bay FC are not daunted at having to face log leaders Highlands Park on Saturday, despite a 3-0 loss to Tuks in their last outing.

The three goal defeat was by no means a true reflection on the game, with the NRB side having rattled the post twice in the first half before conceding the first goal.

‘We were all over them and had plenty of chances, especially in the second half when we played strongly,’ said assistant coach Sello Ntuli.

‘Soccer is a strange game and we certainly did not deserve that scoreline.’

At Tuesday morning’s practice, head coach Jean Louis Losqiuto had the players concentrating on speed and accuracy of their passing game.

The NFD could well be in for a shock result at the uMhlathuze Stadium on Saturday (kick-off 3.30pm).

They have all but been written off, despite some excellent performances, and this could be the day their fortunes change.
