THE journey on land is almost over for a large yacht that was ‘launched’ nine days ago from Buhrmansdrift near Mahikeng on a road transporter to Richards Bay.
It is now parked alongside the N2 just 2km from the Nseleni off-ramp, awaiting final traffic approval to resume moving down the R619 to the Zululand Yacht Club.
This should happen within the next hour and traffic will be affected past Aquadene, Brackenham, North Central Arterial and then along the John Ross Parkway from the Mzingazi Canal intersection to the yacht club.
