NRB suffer big loss to Tuks

After five consecutive draws and with new coach Jean Luis Losciuto now in the picture, the Natal Rich Boyz were hoping to get onto winning ways, especially after being only 1-0 down at the break

RICHARDS Bay FC were taught a few lessons at Pretoria University on Saturday afternoon, going down decisively by three goals to nil to the Tuks – their worst result of the season.

After five consecutive draws and with new coach Jean Luis Losciuto now in the picture, the Natal Rich Boyz were hoping to get onto winning ways, especially after being only 1-0 down at the break.

But that was not to be and the result moves Tuks into second spot on the NFD log, just one point behind leaders Highlands Park, who travel to the uMhlathuze Stadium this Saturday.

It’s going to take a monumental effort to take three points off the visitors, but it can be done.

Highlands were held to a goalless home draw to Witbank Spurs on Saturday, the same scoreline as when NRB played Spurs a week ago.
