Little Zenande gets her TV break

A year after taking the world title, this young beauty queen has received a big break into the television industry and is flying the Zululand flag high

WINNING the Little Miss Universe pageant in Turkey was just a beginning for Empangeni model Zenande Mncwabe (8), who continues to climb the ladder.

A year after taking the world title, this young beauty queen has received a big break into the television industry and is flying the Zululand flag high.

After few attempts, Zenande was finally spotted and now features in three television commercials – the SuperSport Lets Play, Boxer Stores and Brothers for Life advertisements.

‘I love television and I’m happy to have been part of the advertising shoots for these big companies,’ she said.

Zenande is definitely no stranger to the limelight.

She holds the KZN Ambassador 2015, KZN Tourism 2015, Upper Highway and Miss Day of the Race 2015 titles. She was also first princess at the Zululand Trade Fair.

Not only does she excel as a model, but she is also on top of her game in sport – holding half KZN colours in gymnastics and the winner of many tournament medals..

She has travelled the world showcasing her skills as a model, gymnast and public figure.

Zenande has taken time out from her modelling and decided to give back to the community, currently working with different orphanage homes, among other things.

Working with her school St Catherine’s, she aims to put a smile on faces of many underprivileged or orphaned Zululand children by collecting Christmas gifts

If she is not doing charity work, she conducting radio interviews or making appearances as a special guest at events across the country.
