SPCA dog kennel ‘lock-in’ open to visitors

Come support the SPCA by visiting those locked in a dog kennel on Friday night

THE inaugural ‘Night in the life of a rescue animal’ fund-raiser for Richards Bay SPCA is just around the corner, and members of the public who have not registered to participate but who want to be part of the action, can do so between 6 and 9pm tomorrow (Friday) evening, when the gates will be open to the public.

Organised by Magic Moments Richards Bay, the teams are already well on their way to reaching their fund-raising targets of R5 000 each, and some have also brought in some dog and cat food.

Entry fee for those coming just for the open time is R20 per person, all of which will go to the SPCA.

Visitors are encouraged to bring their picnic baskets, cooler boxes and chairs.

MC Keith Eaton will be there to create a good vibe, the beautiful Mystique and her owner Carmen will be entertaining everyone with their dog trick demonstrations on behalf of Empangeni Dog Club, Mainly Coffee will be there to satisfy everyone’s caffeine needs – all coffee proceeds also to go to the SPCA – and people can join in the kennel auction.

So bring your friends and extended families, and join in a night full of magic moments in support of Richards Bay SPCA.
