THE highlight of St Catherine’s School’s 2017 prize giving ceremony was the announcement of the 2018 Headgirl and Deputy Headgirl.
Sarah Giles will wear the prestigious white Headgirl blazer, while Wanele Mabaso was named as her deputy.

Another highlight was star pupil Anele Mzimela who picked up 10 awards on the evening, including the Matric Dux Floating Trophy for the matric pupil with the highest year mark.
Mfundiso Zuma collected five awards.

Senior Goodfellowship Floating Trophy – Mfundiso Zuma.
Monika Fahn Memorial Floating Trophy (awarded by the principal) – Mfundiso Zuma.
Thomas Floating Trophy for boarder who is a good role model – Mfundiso Zuma.
Mayor of uMhlathuze Floating Trophy for mathematical literacy – Mfundiso Zuma.
