MIKHAIL Singh almost needed a trolley to transport his awards home after Felixton College’s senior prize giving ceremony last week.
His achievements?
Over 80% in mathematics, information technology, physical sciences, accounting, advanced programme maths, the Eliot Trophy for top achiever in computer studies and the Bayside Trophy as top achiever in physical science.
But there’s more!
Erin Wickham has been at Felixton College ‘all of her life’ as her mother has taught at the school since before Erin was born. Here she poses with her proud parents Robin and Teresa. Add to that the Deloitte and Touche Trophy as top accountant, the Advanced Programme Mathematics book prize, the top achiever trophy for academic excellence and the Van Staden Trophy as top matriculant.

And what a proud moment it was for the parents of Felixton College’s 2017 head prefects Tristan Fernandes and Tamsyn Fish.
They watched their children receive a host of awards.
Hasina Joosub (left) was awarded the Cooper Trophy for creative writing , top public speaker, top English achiever and academic excellence awards, while another top public speaker, Thandolwethu Ntshangase, was awarded the English Olympiad trophy and named top achiever in geography. She was also RBM’s top environmental scientist and received the RP Scott Trophy for outstanding academic achievement
Tamsyn received subject prizes for English, Afrikaans, dramatic arts and history.

She also received the school’s Academic Excellence and Neves Leadership trophies.
Riccardo Polayya was awarded the Life Sciences Trophy and Academic Excellence, while Nombuyiselo Mdluli took home the PriceWaterhouseCoopers Trophy for Most Improved Accounting student, and was recognised for her Academic Excellence
Tristan, who shared the Rugby Player of the Year trophy with Damon Welsh, was honoured for academic excellence and awarded the Esprit de Corps Trophy.
