Tired of watching your kids watching cartoons all weekend long?
Watch this space every week for some fresh ideas to keep them entertained – and spend some quality time with their parents.
Make your own artist palette
Spark your child’s creativity by making him believe he is a master painter – geared with his very own art palette.
For this project, you’ll need a coffee tin lid and a few plastic bottle caps.
Use a hobby knife and cut out a hole where your child’s thumb will go – make sure it’s not too small and not too big.
Stick a number of clean bottle caps upside-down onto the coffee lid.
Make sure you use a proper adhesive that will stick.
Now a little lesson in patience: your child has to wait until the glue has dried before he adds paint and starts playing with his new palette.
Voila! Another masterpiece completed!
