Locals going big with new track

LOCAL artists Sphe Dlamini (Alta SA) and Sne Khumalo (DJ Bonus of Motion Muzic) recently released their latest track which they describe as ‘one of many to come.’

The duo’s latest single Lo Mama is a catchy tune with soulful vocals which will have your feet tapping to the melodic house beat.

Speaking to the ZO, Alta SA said the song is a about the love and strength that men get from the women in their lives, to keep on pushing in the pursuit of their dreams.

‘It’s a message directed to women, simply saying that without them we are nothing. This includes mothers, sisters, grandmothers, aunts – basically any woman who has an impact on our lives.’

Alta SA said his inspiration comes from personal experiences. ‘My parents have been a huge factor in my belief of love.

‘DJ Bonus is the first person I’ve collaborated with in my career and I enjoy working with him because he lets me do whatever I want and I let him do whatever he wants.

‘We are two different producers, but our energy becomes one in the studio.

‘He is down to earth and humble, whereas I’m totally the opposite, but it worked out amazingly.’

The duo have plans of shooting a music video for Lo Mama this month.

‘We are working closely with OVert Productions and TheyAllFloat Media on sourcing visuals for the music video.

‘Thereafter we want to try and get as many bookings as possible and release as many songs as we can.

‘Basically this year is all about growth. We are helping each other learn and get more accustomed to the studio environment so we can deliver more amazing songs and content,’ he said.
