EMPANGENI-BORN musician Zethembiso Mdletshe (24) is making her mark in the music industry.
This young Ngwelezana performer is part of a reality show Next Level aired on the DStv channel Mzansi Magic.
She was selected during national auditions and outshone thousands of other hopefuls.
The songbird has a degree in music, majoring in jazz at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
She has performed at various venues around the province, including The Centre for Jazz, The Jazzy Rainbow, Durban Playhouse, Bat Centre, The Chairman, Bertoua and Alliance Française.
She has also worked on the Uzalo drama series and participated in the SAFTA awards and Durban International Film Festival.
This emerging muso has also featured on various radio and TV programmes.
Zethembiso will be given a chance to be mentored by five of South Africa’s biggest music names in a 10-week masterclass.
