Suspected drunk Reverend pushes driver off bridge in Empangeni

POLICE have arrested an alleged drunk driver, believed to be a Reverend, and said to have been driving recklessly along the John Ross Parkway (R34) towards Empangeni this afternoon.

Reports from the scene indicate that the driver initially pushed another driver off the road near the Alton turn off and fled the scene before pushing another driver over the bridge opposite Inyanga Motors in Empangeni.

The victim sustained moderate injuries and has been transported to hospital for further medical attention.
