uShaka Marine World is looking for new and emerging creative talent in Zululand
Have YOU got what it takes to be a star?

The uShaka ‘Search For The Stars’ competition has a number of categories that need to be filled with deserving talent, and auditions are taking place this Sunday at the Empangeni Town Hall.
If you are a dance group, the judges are looking for a minimum of three dancers specialising in one or more of the various dance styles – pantsula, contemporary, local, international, Indian, Tswana, tin, football, hip hop, isigekle, kwaito, ingoma yamantombazane, uShameni and gumboot.
So start practicing your routines for a quality performance on the day of the auditions.
Acapella singers, wedding singers, hip hop artists, kwaito and Afro gospel singers are also encouraged to enter (four group members or more), as well as professional bands.
Making the event even more exciting, is that judges will also be searching for those with a speciality act, such as mime artists, circus performers, buskers and magicians.
If you are successful at the auditions and are selected to go to the finals on Saturday, 7 October at uShaka Marine World, you will be competing with other district finalists for a one year contract to perform at uShaka Marine World.
For more information about the auditions, contact Shaun Mbatha on 031 3288008 or email him on smbatha@ushakamarineworld.co.za
Registration is from 9:30am & the actual event starts at 11am.
