Graceland tribute concert

Rob and Garth Warren, together with sensational 'stick man' Gareth Gale make up The Black Lapels

THE House in Zululand will host a Paul Simon Gracelands tribute show on Women’s Day on 8 August, performed by the Black Lapels.

Rob and Garth Warren, together with sensational ‘stick man’ Gareth Gale, step away from their traditional use of electric equipment and instead strip their rock n roll spurs for a more purist acoustic singer/songwriter approach.

For the Paul Simon fans out there, a set list of favourites awaits.

From Graceland to You can call me Al, Homeless, The Boxer, Gumboots, Diamonds on the sole of her shoes and the brilliance of Mother and Child Reunion, each beautifully polished and delicately delivered.

Tickets are R125.

Bring your own picnic dinner.

A full bar will be available.

Doors open at 6pm and the show will start at 7.30pm.
