BREAKING: Fiery inferno on the N2 claims two lives
Members of the public are being urged to proceed with caution on the N2 after the Mandini Toll northbound (towards Richards Bay)
TWO people have died after a light motor vehicle caught alight following a collision with a club cab on the N2, just after the Mandini Toll Plaza, shortly before 7am this morning.
The two rear passengers of the light motor vehicle were entrapped when the car caught alight and they subsequently burnt to death.
The driver and passenger of the vehicle managed to escape with minor injuries, while the driver of the club cab sustained moderate injuries.
Fire and rescue personnel as well as IPPS Medical Rescue are on scene and assisting to clear the scene.
