HEAVY police presence can be felt around Empangeni’s Civic Centre as a number of local ANC supporters gather in anticipation as President Jacob Zuma is set to deliver his Nelson Mandela Memorial Lecture.
Zuma’s speech is expected to get underway at 4pm today (Tuesday).
Zuma, together with ANC Provincial Chairperson Sihle Zikalala, earlier spent their 67 minutes at Ngwelezane’s Place of Safety.
