Many thanks to special people

Prayers and visits make a phenomenal impact on the Bothma family.

ON 11 August my family was involved in a terrible head-on collision.

My grandchild was killed on impact and the rest of my family were seriously injured.

I hereby want to thank all those people who provided support and comfort – so many family, friends and relatives that prayed, assisted financially, assisted with transport and funeral arrangements, gave food parcels and meals and sent flowers to the hospital and home.

There were so many phone calls, messages, sms postings and well wishes from so many people.

I don’t want to skip anyone, but I am struggling to recall everything that happened and what everybody did.

My mind is still processing everything.

Please know that your love carried us through a very difficult time in our lives.

It is only through the grace of God that my wife and children are back home after a very long and painful stay of almost three months in Netcare The Bay Hospital.

Special thanks to the doctors and staff of the hospital who treated my family.

A special thank you to the AFM Light House Congregation of Empangeni and the Round Table of Richards Bay for all their support.

Zululand Remedial School and Richards Bay High School teachers and classmates supported and helped my children.

Lizl was discharged on Sunday afternoon and will be recovering at home.

There is still a long road to recovery before us.

You prayers and visits made a phenomenal impact in the Bothma family’s situation.

May the Lord will bless you all.

MARIUS BOTHMA
