UPDATE: Umfolozi College management and students reach agreement

Grievances included NSFAS allowances that were mistakenly paid out to only 19 students

THE issues that led to student unrest at the Umfolozi TVET College’s eSikhawini campus have been resolved and classes and examinations resumed at all campuses on Tuesday.

This is according to a media statement by the college following a meeting between college management and the SRC leadership on Monday.

Grievances included NSFAS allowances that were mistakenly paid out to only 19 students.

It was resolved that the NSFAS mistake would rectified.
