BREAKING: R34 towards Vryheid closed after fatal accident

A serious accident on the R34 from Ulundi towards Vryheid, next to Zulu Rock, has resulted in part of the road being closed.

While reports are vague, the ZO understands that two vehicles were involved, one of which caught fire.

One person has died and another has been seriously injured.

Rescue and emergency personnel are on the scene and have advised motorists to use an alternative route.
