ZCCI hosts business help desk

Business owners and those who want to start their businesses received information on becoming a member of the ZCCI and its benefits as well as SMME funding advises

LOCAL aspiring entrepreneurs took advantage of the ZCCI SMME Helpdesk at eSikhawini Library on Thursday.

Spearheaded by the Zululand Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZCCI), the business help desk aimed to offer business advice and registration to young entrepreneurs.

‘We wanted to bring services to the people because we saw this place had potential,’ said ZCCI Business Development Advisor Nompumelelo Ndlela.

Taking advantage of the help desk are Vuyisile Mncube, Thandaza Mdunjana and Senzo Nketu

Business owners and those who want to start their businesses received information on becoming a member of the ZCCI and its benefits as well as SMME funding advises.

‘Youth should make entrepreneurship a career of choice but it’s very important for them to seek information and take advantage of these sessions,’ she said.

Ndlela also shared information on the ZCCI operations and upcoming programmes, which include strengthening the Youth Entrepreneurship Development Forum.
