IFP wrap up Nquthu by-elections

WITH results from one ward still outstanding (ward 15), the IFP has taken 12 of the 17 wards in the Nquthu Municipality by-elections yesterday (Wednesday).

Results as at 8am today showed that the ANC had taken Wards 6, 10, 16 and 17.

None of the other 12 parties who contested the by-elections were able to secure a seat.
