Neil McMaster back on the cycling saddle
He was ploughed into by a drunk driver on a recent training ride
DESPITE getting ploughed into by a drunk driver on a recent training ride that left Neil McMaster in a back brace for six weeks, the local cyclist bounced back from the injury and completed the 105km section of the 2017 aQuelle Tour Durban last weekend.
McMaster, who had limited movement after the incident, finshed the race in 3.15.47.
Fellow club cyclist Daniel Titus, who was also injured in the accident, completed his ride in 2.57.31.
A handful of Zululand Cycling Club cyclists competed in the 45km and 105km sections of the popular race.
