THE negative publicity that Zululand’s tertiary institutions, including the University of Zululand (Unizulu), have been receiving, is causing much concern to the local brach of the Congress of South African Trade Union (Cosatu).
Cosatu uMhlathuze Chairperson Muzi Zakwe told the Zululand Observer ahead of the Freedom Day celebrations on Thursday that they remained worried about the state of tertiary institutions of learning in the region, and were planning to engage the local ANC’s Commission on Education.
