Kruger, Shuttleworth and Rudner win first surfski race
Satisfactory turnout at first race in surfski series
THE first leg of the Kenart Zululand Surfski Series organised by the Zululand Kayak Club took place on Saturday.
The first race sponosored by Inkwazi Engineering consisted of a long and short course.
Line honours in the long course were taken by Keagon Kruger in a time of 51:07.

He was followed by Mike Stevens in 52:35 and Nigel Stevens in 55:07.
A double crew of Michael Shuttleworth and Ziggy Rudner were first across the line in the short course in 45:10.
They were followed by Craig Hardwick (47:14) and doubles crew Mark and Rupert Henderson finished in 50:54.
The second race in the series, sponsored by Scribante, will be held on Saturday, 25 February.
