Party time with the Blarney Brothers
Blarney Brothers to invade Empangeni in March
GET ready for a foot-stomping party with the Blarney Brothers in Empangeni in March.
Join the trio when they let the good times roll during the St Patrick’s Day celebration at the Mancosa Empangeni Rugby Football Club on Saturday, 18 March.
These oldies will jam it up to help raise funds for the rugby club.
Their music is a mixture of Irish ballads, foot-tapping pub songs and the occasional Irish dance.
This band has performed across South Africa and the world for more than 30 years, with 12 albums under their belts.
In fact, their history goes back even further as they served their musical apprenticeship playing in Ireland for 10 years before arriving on South African soil.
They have performed in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Macau, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Australia and the UK.
The brothers have also been involved in a six part television series; ‘You don’t have to be Irish’, which was filmed in Ireland and screened on SA television.
During the Empangeni show gates will open at 6pm and the show will start at 7pm.
Tickets are available at the club for R100 and R200 for VIP access.
