HYUNDAI in SA will have a compact crossover in its line-up in the form of the all new Creta.
The Creta is expected to go on sale within the next few months and will take on popular crossovers such as the Mazda CX3, Honda HR-V and Ford Ecosport.
Drivetrain specification, kit and pricing have yet to be announced, but to be competitive in this highly contested segment one can expect the Creta to cost between R290K and R390K.
In the Creta Hyundai enthusiasts will now be able to buy a crossover below the Tucson.
It is expected that the SA spec Creta will run a 1.6-litre petrol engine (90kW/154Nm), as well as a 1.6 turbo-diesel (96kW/265Nm).
