The three Js booked for eShowe

A highly mobile and flexible band, their laid-back and fun playing style, combined with a repertoire of a mixture of pensive folk songs and high-octane reels and jigs, makes every performance an engaging affair.

MUSIC trio Jenny and the Jameses are making a rare trip outside of their stomping grounds in the Western Cape with a short tour to KZN.

The tour includes a stop-over in eShowe at Thornley’s Guest House on Saturday, 21 January.

The trio consists of Jennifer Eaves (guitar, vocals), James Hall (fiddle and vocals) and James Harvey (harp, accordion, upright bass and vocals).

They play a variety of folk songs, mostly written by Jenny, and other traditional tunes.

Included are covers of pop songs adapted for a three-person acoustic line-up.

A highly mobile and flexible band, their laid-back and fun playing style, combined with a repertoire of a mixture of pensive folk songs and high-octane reels and jigs, makes every performance an engaging affair.

The show starts at 4.30pm and tickets are R100 per person.
