Rugby teams were awarded trophies at the annual Zululand Sub Union prize-giving

ZULULAND rugby players and officials gathered at the Zululand Sub-Union prize-giving function held at Mick Kelly Park on Wednesday evening.

Teams were awarded trophies from Zululand Sub-Union President Peter Hassard for their efforts during the 2013 season.

The Zululand Rugby Player of the Year will be announced at the Zululand Sub-Union AGM on 14 November at Mick Kelly Park, starting at 6pm.

Awards:

Stewart Shield – eShowe Rugby Club

Webber Cup – eShowe Rugby Club

Van Rooyen Cup – eSikhaweni

Brockwell Cup – Mandini

Bozas Cup – Varsity Drifters

Johan Bezuidenhout Plate – Empangeni Rugby Football Club

Paul Nunan Bowl Trophy – Mandini.
