Dancers shine on stage

From young and old, these talented performers showcased their skills and provided killer performances

DANCERS recently put their best feet forward, and left hearts and soul on the dance floor at Heuwelland Primary School in Empangeni.

From young and old, these talented performers showcased their skills and provided killer performances during a steamy dance off titled Let’s Dance around the World.

The spectacular showcase was a year-end show spearheaded by the Ballet Barre Empangeni Dance School in a joint venture with the Mystic Moon Belly Dancers.

‘Ballet girls from 3 to 15 years old and modern dancing girls from 6 to 17 years old worked so hard, and it paid off in the end with a stunning show,’ said dance teachers Sunette Brink and Nicky White.

‘They have grown so much in the last four years thanks to the wonderful Empangeni community.’
