GROVE Street and New Money will meet in the Bounce Basketball league finals on Saturday at the uMhlathuze Regional Sports Complex (2pm),
This after both sides managed to shrug off NRBreeze and Conquerors respectively in the second round of the semi-finals played at the Complex on Saturday.
Six teams from the uMhlathuze region competed in the league this season, with the top four sides playing the ‘best of three’ in the play-offs.
Grove Street and New Money beat NRBreeze and Conquerors in the first round of the play-offs and then got the job done in round two on Saturday.
Grove Street beat NRBreeze 77-69, with New Money just getting through when beating Conquerors 60-57.
The new league will start early in February, with a development team joining in for preparations for the upcoming SALGA Games.
Anyone interested in joining the league or requiring further information can contact Malusi Radebe on 061 5035877.
