ZRC bids farewell to long serving stalwart

ZRC Principal Des Millin described Masinga as a phenomenal employee

THE Zululand Remedial Centre (ZRC) has bid farewell to one if its long serving employees.

In a career spanning 42 years, Phinias Masinga started at ZRC, then known as Empangeni Primary School, in 1974.

ZRC Principal Des Millin described Masinga as a phenomenal employee.

‘Phinias is one of those employees that never called in sick, nor was there any challenge too big for him to handle.

‘He is a person with exceptional inter-personal relationships and well loved by staff and all learners,’ said Millin.

‘His departure will surely be a huge loss to the school, but he deserves the rest after all the years’ dedication to the Education Department.’

ZRC held a commemorative assembly for Masinga on Friday, during which learners and staff members gathered to celebrate his career.
