DRAMATIC video footage captured on cellphone by a St Lucia resident shows armed robbers and what is reported to be St Lucia police exchanging gunfire after a robbery on Sunday evening.
It is believed a group of at least 10 armed men stormed St Lucia Spar at around 7pm last night before fleeing in two vehicles.
As they are leaving the parking lot, shots ring out from inside one of the getaway vehicles and more shots can be heard seconds later.
While police have not been available to immediately confirm all the details, it is believed one of the vehicles was later recovered and that no one was injured during the shooting.
