WATCH: ZO’s Kyle Cowan shares his feelings after his win at the Vodacom Journalist of the Year Awards
ZULULAND Observer journalist Kyle Cowan walked away with the coveted Online Media award during the regional Vodacom Journalist of the Year Awards in Umhlanga last night.
Cowan was lauded for his creative storytelling ability online and the documentation of breaking news using various elements such as videos and graphics when covering the protest action at iSithebe earlier this year.

As a regional winner, Cowan will now compete in the national awards in Johannesburg in November.
