Vermaak bags top award
The Zululand Sub Union will hold its annual general meeting on Wednesday, 9 November

MANDINI player Wouter Vermaak received the Zululand Rugby Player of the Year award at the Zululand Rugby Sub Union prize giving function held on Wednesday evening at Mick Kelly Park.
The hooker had a great season, captaining Mandini to the Van Rooyen Cup title, playing Premier League rugby for the Mancosa Rhinos first XV and representing the KZN Wildebeest rural team at the SA northern amateur provincial competition in Kimberley.
Empangeni, coached by David de Villiers and captained by Johan Claassens, picked up the Stewart Shield and the Weber Cup trophies, with eShowe Rugby Club bagging the Brockwell Cup.
The Zululand Sub Union will hold its annual general meeting on Wednesday, 9 November at Mick Kelly Park at 6pm.
