THE level of the Goedertrouw Dam has risen first time this year, albeit by only 0.1 percent.
On Monday the dam was 17.4 percent of its full storage capacity compared to 17.3 percent last Monday.
Inland areas have recorded light, but constant rain over the last week with rainfall figures between 3mm and 5mm being measured.
The condition of the veld in the iMfolozi Game Reserve is recovering and many pans, often not visible to the visitors to the reserve, are filling up with the soft soaking rain.
