First bump up on John Ross

RBIDZ warned of upcoming temporary closures

THE first temporary speed bump is up on the far left lane of the John Ross Parkway, adjacent to the Green Africa Nursery.

Tar humps are being built on both sides of the busy road between Richards Bay and Meerensee, but will be removed when construction on the Medway road near the intersection is completed, expected to be end of June next year.

‘We would like to apologise for the inconvenience, but it is in the best interest of all parties,’ said the Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone when it announced plans for the bumps last week.

RBIDZ warned of upcoming temporary closures of Medway southbound, Medway northbound as well as John Ross far left and right lanes for construction of the asphalt humps.
