Human trafficking week kicks off
The workshops will be presented in co-operation with Freedom Generation SA and SAPS

THIS week’s national human trafficking week kicked off in the city with awareness campaigns at the Biker’s Church and Trelique Models on Saturday, presented by Pastor Caroline Pitout of Freedom Generation SA and SAPS’ Captain Debbie Ferreira.
Three displays will be on exhibit at the Richards Bay and Empangeni courts and the Department of Social Development until Friday.
Pastor Pitout also conducted a television interview with 1KZN TV on Monday on the topic of modern day slavery.
On Thursday Richards Bay Family Care will host human trafficking training workshops for foster parents at Mzingazi and Mandlanzini.
The workshops will be presented in co-operation with Freedom Generation SA and SAPS.
The A21 Walk for Freedom will be held at Ballito on 15 October at 8am with an entry fee of R100 per person.
