Zini music ready to roll

African arts and crafts, hippy clothing and tattoo artists will be available at many stalls

THE Mtunzini Music Festival will include a huge line-up of musicians who will be jamming for charity.

Get ready for a weekend of massive music and fun at the Zini Music Festival from Friday to Sunday at Nature’s Way Backpackers Pub and Grub in Mtunzini.

This three-day carnival aims to raise funds for Hospice Zululand and commemorate International Hospice Day.

The set-up will be on a field surrounded by lush dune forests with plenty of room for camping, flea markets and a large kids’ arena, as well as the stage and spectator area.

It will include top quality music, food, fun and flea markets for the whole family.

Top South African musos such as songwriter and guitarist Rowan Stuart will battle it out on stage in support of the charity drive.

Festival revellers can expect live music from 10am, including rock, jazz, folk, reggae, R&B, hip hop and classical acoustic.

Kids will also be entertained in the kids’ safe zone and will be looked after by child minders.

Fun for the children will include a 10 metre high slide, jumping castle, sand castle building, face painting, puppet shows, magic tricks, healthy food and other fun games.

African arts and crafts, hippy clothing and tattoo artists will be available at many stalls.

Fire dancers and breathers, glow in the dark hats and bracelets will be part of the night programme, including the lighting of a huge bonfire.
