Empangeni Rugby Club leads darts log
Wednesday evening will see the start of the second and final round of the competition
EMPANGENI Rugby Club (ERC) leapfrogged to the top of the Empangeni Darts Sports League log after beating Umoya 6-2 at ERC on Wednesday evening.
The local outfit dominated from the start, nailing bulls in cricket and then following that up with numerous triples and doubles.
Second placed Undertakers recorded their third win of the season with a 6-3 victory over Aces at the Moths Hall.
Fernandos suffered their fourth consecutive defeat, going down 6-1 to Rhinos at Fernandos.
Impis gave Bangin The Neighbours a lesson in darts, beating them 6-2 at Umoya Lounge, while Impis found the bulls with ease during cricket and recorded 180 with three darts.
They took advantage of their opponents misfortunes and capatilsed at the right times, to claim the win away from home.
Defending champions Hullets had a quiet evening at home as they had a bye.
Wednesday evening will see the start of the second and final round of the competition before the quarter-finals scheduled for Wedensday, 9 November.
