Mother electrocuted to death
While trying to switch off the fridge, she was electrocuted
A MIDDLE aged woman was fatally electrocuted at her Mapheleni Reserve, KwaMsane home last week.
According to reports the deceased was at her home with her children when she smelled something burning in the kitchen.
There she found an electric cable on fire and she instructed her children leave the house.
While trying to switch off the fridge, she was electrocuted. Her father tried to come to her rescue, but was also shocked and sustained injuries.
She died at the scene, succumbing to burn wounds all over her body.
KwaMsane police has opened an inquest docket for investigation and no foul play is suspected.
