Passionate trio on the way up

Soul Touchers to record their music with top KZN music house

PASSION for music is what drives the musical trio from eSikhaleni, Soul Touchers.

Favourite Myeni (17), Sanelisiwe Masikane (19) and Minenhle Ndawonde (17) are climbing the entertainment ladder.

These pupils from Mjabuliseni High School in eSikhaleni recently wowed the crowd and judges at the Spring Art battle on Saturday, and were honoured with the best overall performance award.

Not only did they receive a standing ovation from the audience, but were also scouted by one of KZN’s top music houses.

They will soon record their music with the hope of spreading it across the country.

These sweet vibrant voices started singing during their lunch breaks at school, and soon developed into the biggest girl group in the region.

They have also collaborated with the emerging group, eSikhaleni Something.

What set them apart from the rest is their ability to tackle all music genres, from gospel to acapella, R&B and even traditional wedding songs.

These girls from the rural heart of Mkhobose Reserve are definitely making their mark and living their dream.
