Pot of gold for Rainbow’s End

Friends packed the Baptist Church hall in Arboretum in support of Rainbow's End Day Care Centre

LOCALS are well experienced at having fun while raising money for good causes and Friday night was no exception as friends packed the Baptist Church hall in Arboretum in support of Rainbow’s End Day Care Centre.

Caroline Stevens, the main organiser, came up with the idea of a ‘music trivia’ evening and this was wholeheartedly supported by patrons who dressed bodies and tables according to theme and really let their hair down.

Through table bookings, raffles, auctions, donations, extortion, cajoling and ‘pay for answers’, more than R17 000 was raised – enough to truly benefit the little children who attend the facility.

Thanks to Dean Smith of Ocean Audio, lively music ensured everything was right on tune during the evening.
