Gerrit Dyman's 'Make a wish' won the open section

MEMBERS of the Beachcombers Photographic Club presented their ‘Portrait’ and ‘Monochrome’ themed shots for last month’s challenge, as well as a stunning array in the open category at the September club meeting held last Tuesday.

Overall theme winner was Sias van Schalkwyk with ‘Eyeballs’, followed by Gerrit Dyman’s ‘Make a wish’, which claimed top prize in the open section, and Chantelle King’s ‘Butterfly’, which took the junior title with the highest points.

Next month’s challenge will be hosted under the ‘Photojournalism’ and ‘News Events’ theme.

Visitors and photographers are invited to visit the club as guests on the first Tuesday of every month at the the NSRI (next to Zululand Yacht Club) in Richards Bay. Induction for new members begins at at 6:15pm, and the club meeting at 7pm sharp.
