Amange Village Home Based Caregivers recognised

The caregivers reach 452 patients per month

Amange Village’s 28 Home Based Caregivers (HBC), headed by Amos Mtshali, were identified as peer to peer educators by the KZN Human Trafficking, Harmful Traditional Practices, Pornography, Prostitution and Brothels Task Team.

The caregivers reach 452 patients per month, offering primary health care to patients and families and providing the community with information about HIV/AIDS and related diseases.

The KZN Task Team is locally represented by Pastor Caroline Pitout of Freedom Generation SA with the Zululand Observer as media partner.
